I participated in the Kupala Festival organized by the NPO Japan-Ukraine Friendship Association KRAIANY.

About the Kupala Festival (from KRAIANY's website): In many European cultures, there is a tradition of celebrating the summer solstice, and Ukraine has its own unique solstice celebration. Before the spread of Christianity in Ukraine, people believed that gods inhabited fire, water, and nature in general, as part of their polytheistic beliefs. The Kupala Festival retains many of these pre-Christian traditions.

Originally, the Kupala Festival was a celebration aimed at finding a marriage partner. It is a festival rich in traditions related to the search for a lover, making it particularly popular among young people.
