I introduced several Ukrainians I met through the calendar project to the editorial team, and they kindly agreed to collaborate on the feature. After two clear autumn days, the event went smoothly, and I was able to meet some familiar faces and even sold some calendars. Thank you very much! Listening to Ukrainian music brings back a sense of nostalgia for some reason.

先週、私の母校である京都のノートルダム女学院で行われたイベント、ホームカミングデーで、ウクライナの避難民の方々を取材撮影して制作したパネルと作品２点を展示していただきました。

また、イベント終了後は校長室の真前の廊下に美しく展示してくださいました。こちらは長く展示していただけるそうで、在校生やご父兄にもご覧いただけるそうです。若い人たちに何かを感じ考えるきっかけになってもらえれば幸いです。

Last week, I had the opportunity to exhibit two of my works, as well as 10 panel created from interviews and photographs of Ukrainian evacuees, at an event called Homecoming Day, held at my alma mater, Notre Dame Jogakuin in Kyoto.
After the event, these were beautifully displayed in the hallway right in front of the principal’s office. I have been told that they will remain on display for a while, allowing current students and their families to view them. I hope it can serve as an opportunity for young people to reflect and gain something from the experience.

I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Principal Kurimoto and the administrative director for providing me with this wonderful opportunity. Thank you very much."

深夜1時に自宅を出発して国師ヶ岳と北奥千丈岳に登って来ました。
勝沼インターからクネクネの林道2時間、到着した大弛峠の駐車場は既に満杯でびっくり‼️
なんとかスペース見つけてまだ暗い4時から登り始め、1時間で国師ヶ岳に着きました(^^)
2500mを超す山頂は肌寒く気持ちよかったです‼️
国師ヶ岳から北奥千丈岳、晴れて来たので、また国師ヶ岳に戻って富士山を堪能しました(^^)
超お手軽登山なのに、景色は素晴らしく、へなちょこに見合うお山に連れて来てくれたO山さんに今日も感謝です(^^)/
