On May 16th and 17th, 2024, I held a solo exhibition at the Embassy of Ukraine in Japan. In addition to the artwork "Tiny Flowers," I displayed interview articles with individuals who fled from Ukraine to Japan.
Despite the stringent security restrictions at the embassy, I was honored to have the attendance of the evacuees and their families, students from Ukrainian language classes, and members of the media. I hope that this exhibition provided a glimpse into the daily lives of Ukrainians.
I extend my heartfelt gratitude to the individuals who fled from Ukraine to Japan and contributed, the staff of the Embassy of Ukraine in Japan, and especially to Ms. Inna Ilyina, Third Secretary of the Embassy of Ukraine in Japan.
